First Day of Kindergarten!

It's been quite a week as we have prepared for a big life event! Our "nut nuts" is a kindergartener! We are very thankful that she is able to go to The Covenant School. Her teacher is Mrs. Mountjoy who is in the picture with her below. Check out the daily routine. That list is exactly why I could never homeschool! I would have 3 snacks, recess and perhaps a story by lunch time!

We also started a new tradition at our house. The "back to school" cake tradition. Millie helped to make that fine masterpiece and we just finished scarfing down a fourth of it!

It is 7:15 and Clara still refuses to take off her uniform. We shall see how long that lasts!

A little white lie

While we were in Paris, we stayed at a place that had A LOT of ducks, geese, and swans. I told the girls that they love harmonica music. Well, it was all fun and games until Millie was attacked by a swan. Of course I didn't get a video of that...I was too busy picking her up and running!
