Millie is living it up this week! Clara is up in Michigan visiting Oma and Opa so Millie has free reign over the toys!

Friends from Houston

Our friends from Houston, The Droogs, came for a visit. Their little girl Eden, is a couple months younger than Millie. We so enjoyed spending time with them!

Eggs!

This morning Clara informed me that she was going to teach Millie how to make eggs. Millie really got into it!

Friday evening bike ride

Backyard Bible Club

This week Clara has been going to a Backyard Bible Club. She has LOVED it and can't wait to go every morning. I have been carpooling with our neighbor. Clara thinks that Jack and Katie are the greatest.

Quiet?

This morning after breakfast we all went upstairs to get dressed for the day. I was in my room and there was this eery thing....silence. Oh no, what are they doing? I quickly went to Clara's room and there they were, reading books! WOW!

Bikes and Helmets

So we decided since we live so close to the Katy Trail (7 mile path that goes downtown), that we needed to get some bikes. The Salvation Army had a great deal on bikes for Walter and I and also a carriage (what the girls are sitting in) that you pull behind the bike for the girls. Clara is SO excited and refuses to take off her helmet. She ran errands to Kroger and the Farmers Market this morning and yes, she wore her helmet with her dress the whole time!

BOZ

BOZ was in Dallas! Today, Clara met Boz, her FAVORITE green bear! Boz teaches that sharing is caring, how to eat right, exercise, and how to be a good helper! It was fun for all except Millie, who wasn't too thrilled with the big green bear.

Ye Ye and Nai Nai

Clara LOVES to play with these little dolls. She is holding "ye ye and nai nai." When we lived in Houston, Ye Ye and Nai Nai (Walter's parents) would come over every Thursday and play with the girls. Clara definitely remembers and plays pretend with them everyday!

Working girl

Clara asks me about 20 times a day where daddy is and I tell her he is at work. Of course her reply 98% of the time is "why"? She told me she was going to work also and I found her in the office doing a little business!
